President Mike Corrigan

Michael Corrigan has been the Proviso Township Supervisor for thirteen years. Proviso Township encompasses fourteen villages and over 150,000 residents. Michael is also the President of the Proviso Township Mental Health Commission.  The partnership between the Proviso Township Mental Health Commission and The Way Back Inn started in 1973. Since that time, the funding provided by Proviso Township has enabled countless men and women to recover from the grip of addiction.

 Michael’s advocacy for substance use treatment in Proviso Township allows residents to recover in a sober environment without having to leave the community. As Township Supervisor, Michael has forged a special relationship with the Way Back Inn and has seen first-hand the fruits of Proviso Township’s support of specialized services for veterans in a local residential program that provides long-term recovery.

A successful businessman, Michael is the president and owner of Corrigan Financial Services. He is a caring and involved citizen, giving generous time to many different organizations including The Proviso Public Partnership, Strengthening Proviso Youth, the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce, and the Township Officials of Cook County.  Mr. Corrigan was also the past president of the Young Board of Advisors for Mercy Hospital.  He was the Proviso Township Assessor for 12 years before serving as supervisor and is a former trustee and treasurer of the LaGrange Park Public Library. Mike & his wife live in LaGrange Park where they raised 6 children and now enjoy watching them prosper and develop their careers as young adults. The Corrigan family has grown in the last few years as 2 of their daughters are now married and have been blessed with two grandchildren.
